The Bombay Canteen in Kamala Mills compound has a vast and interesting selection of desserts. Our pick here being Gulab Nut. Gulab Nut is Bombay Canteen’s take on our traditional Gulab Jamun & it’s alcoholic!

“Kyuki haan! haan! Main alcoholic hu! Boozy Gulab Nut is a take on baba au rhum. It is a small yeast cake saturated in syrup made with hard liquor, usually rum. This super interesting version of our Gulab Jamun is almost 5 times the size of normal gulab jamun and is a – donut-shaped gulab jamun fried in ghee and then soaked in Old Monk, giving it a sweet rum flavour. Served with pista cream, we all love when the Gulab Nut kicks it in the end.

2. Beer-A-Misu, Gateway Taproom
Love Tiramisu? So, Now try Beer-a-misu. Beer gets a new makeover at Gateway Taproom & you’ve to try it as it is unfair to say no to beer! sn’t it a delight to have some coffee-flavoured custard dessert made of layers of coffee, whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, also flavoured with cocoa post a heavy dinner with some beer? Yes! I am talking about Tiramisu! Wouldn’t it be even more delighting to have this classic tiramisu with a very beer-y twist to it. Gateway Taproom in BKC serves some delicious Beer-a-misu (₹310++) and we just cannot wait to try it!

Move away beer mug! We’re going to get drunk with Beer popsicles at The White Owl. This frozen lolly is the best way and a definitely more fun way to have beer! The White Owl’s beer popsicle is quite an innovation on its own. We always end up asking for some chilled beer, right? Well, The White Owl is the only place where you can head to and ask for ‘frozen beer’ because they serve lollies made by freezing Ace beer with some apple juice reduction and green apple pieces.
