Mumbai’s iconic stopover for Parsi cuisine definitely has to be Piccadilly in Colaba.

What Is It?

Wind your way through Colaba Causeway to make an iconic stop at Piccadilly’s. The restaurant has been running under the watchful eye of Parvez Buzorg. Started in 1957, this cafe is famous for its shwaramas! We tried the Jumbo Chicken Shawarma and it’s totally worth the hype! (₹180). The Shawarma comes with pickled beets, mayo and loads of chicken chunks.

We also loved the Khajur Ni Gari, a traditional Parsi dessert (₹150). Stuffed with a sweet date filling it is covered with a traditional pastry. Buzorg takes credit for converting the Irani place to include more cuisines.
