Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar – a sweet shop cum restaurant glorifies the traditional art of making Rajasthani sweet called the Ghewar!

What Is It?

Situated in Johari Bazaar, Laxmi Mishthan Bhandaris a famous restaurant is often chanced upon when you’re busy shopping on that street. But, you must go there if you’re a foodie and want to taste some of the best Ghewar in the country! And, the best of the lot is the paneer Ghewar, which is a disc-shaped sweet dish, deep-fried in pure ghee and made using steel molds, looking exactly like a honeycomb. It is then dunked in sugar syrup and garnished with paneer or gold leaf, cashews and rose petals, depending on the flavour you select.
