Flavours of seven different South East Asian countries all in one menu!

What Is It?

Shizusan Shophouse & Bar is the latest addition to the growing trend of South East Asian eateries in Bengaluru. This one’s inspired by the 18th century colonial shophouse culture of South-East Asia.

What’s In It?

What is absolutely striking about this place is that the moment you enter, you forget that you’re actually in a mall! The nature-inspired murals on the wall, the large tree of life in the middle of the space with its branches spreading across the ceiling transport you to a different place altogether. The look is heavily inspired by the region and rightly so.

There is indoor and outdoor seating, and just as you would find in restaurants in South East Asian countries, they display photographs of the dishes on posters or LED screens.

What To Eat?

Well the menu is as large as a manuscript! After all they’ve fitted in cuisine from seven different countries including Burma, Korea, Vietnam, China, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand.

There are 38 pages of food items and 14 pages of drinks.

Again, very popular in the region is bowl lunches and that’s what Shizusan has recreated here. The One Bowl Lunches are a must try.
