Bombay Cocktail Bar, Andheri

In space-starved Mumbai, Andheri’s Bombay Cocktail Bar (BCB) comes as a relief. We headed there to try their specialty — the cocktails. Created by a well-known mixologist, the signature concoctions at BCB manage to hit the spot. We picked the two we liked the most!

 1. Tipsy Kalakhatta

As far as dramatic cocktails go, The Tipsy Kalakhatta sits at the top of the list, right behind Nomayo. The drink is a take on the ubiquitous kala khatta gola found along the city’s beaches. It combines vodka, kala khatta syrup, cumin cocktail spice, lime juice, orange juice, and crushed mint leaves, all shaken and poured into a squat glass.

The drama comes in form of a jar filled with smoked and citrus-flavoured dry ice, placed next to the drink, which imparts it with lemony notes.
