Food Truck Park In Mumbai’s Pali Hill- A Hogger’s Paradise?

Mumbai gets its own version of Food Truck Park. We did an exclusive of it as soon as it was launched. But the joy was short-lived as within a week, BMC authorities asked the organisers to shut it down. Never mind, watch our #InAMinute video to get a sneak peak of the same!

The Mumbai Fusion Food Truck

What’s In It?

The food truck park is an assortment of 10-12 trucks, filled with a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. Ranging from Punjabi cuisine, all the way to Gujarati food, Lebanese and even hot-dogs from the US, they’ll have it all. And the best part is, you’ll get all of this all day through, all year long- so no more food truck hunting trips with your friends.

What To Eat?

And as if choosing one dish over another wasn’t already a task, at the food truck park you and your squad will have a plethora of food to choose from. We’ll make it a little simpler for you by telling you what’s in store. Expect the Lebanese food king Hungry JD’s offering its authentic hummus and falafels. Expect the popular Bombay Food Truck Company, with its ever desirable hot dogs, crab rolls, prawns and more. Also expect debutante ‘By The Way’, a little blue truck that will offer pizzas and fries with fun toppings like chorizo, bacon and Nutella.

What To Drink?

Thinking about those hot sunny days when all you’d want is to quench your thirst? Not to worry. The food truck park would have the liquids covered as well! Various shakes, fresh fruit juices and coolers will be available for you to stick around at the food truck park for long hours with your foodie friends.

If that doesn’t seem enticing enough, they plan to engage separate stalls for home cooks and small entrepreneurs in setting up shops on a rotational basis. Here you could also play the available board games or use the park as your work space. The park will have a seating capacity of about 50, along with a canopy so that not even the rains in Mumbai can stop you from indulging in a grub adventure.
