Head To Burma Burma For Your Burmese Cravings

Why Burma Burma?

Do you also salivate when someone says Khow suey? I know how important it is to find the right place when you know what you want to eat.

The chefs in India have somehow managed to press the right buttons when it comes to the popular Pan-Asian cuisine but the Burmese food ain’t good everywhere. However, we  recently discovered Burma Burma, a vegetarian Burmese restaurant in Cyber Hub, which can be your gateway to yummy delicacies of Burma.

Dry Khow Suey

Khow Suey is basically a Burmese noodle dish, with noodles, vegetables, and a coconut-based curry. It is not very heavy even though it is coconut milk-based and is more on the tangy side. However, only Burma Burma has come up with the idea of Dry Khow suey, which has all vegetables and noodles, but no curry.

It is a crunchy, moderately spicy dish that you can munch on like a starter and fill your tummy as a main course as well!

Tohu Kyaw Are The New Fries in Town

French fries that are not potato but tasty? Yes, they exist! Tohu Kyaw, made from Burmese ‘tofu’ i.e. chickpea flour, is served with some herbs and is definitely something you should try.

A Coconut Ring for Dessert? Yes, Please!

I love cuisines that have an influence of coconut. The Tagu Pyi, is basically  a coconut custard ring served with sago (sabudana) cooked with palm jaggery in the middle of this ring. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

What To Dring?

Their bubble tea is good, but their Burmese Blossom (mocktail) is even better! The perfect blend of watermelon, rose extracts, cherry, and cranberry, is what makes this the most refreshing drink I’ve ever tried.

What’s New?

Burma Burma has added some new dishes to their menu, and I have heard their grilled sticky rice is worth a shot. So if you do plan to try the place, make sure you try this addition from their menu.
