What Is It?

Following a recent decision on tourist visa exemption for the first 48 hours, the UAE Cabinet has now announced a new visa rule & it’s about to make you happier. Tourists traveling to the UAE till September 15 won’t need to pay visa fees for dependents aged 18 years or below. The fee exemption will be applicable between July 15 and September 15 every year to boost tourism during the off-peak season.

A family of 4, parents and 2 children, will be able to bag huge savings with the new visa exemption as a 14-day express tourist visa costs AED 497 per head and a 30-day multi-entry tourist visa costs AED 917 if the traveler purchases it online. The number of passengers traveling through the country’s airports reached 32.8 million during the first quarter of this year.
