Tired of standing in long queues? You can now book your Mumbai local tickets via the UTS app by Indian Railways.
What Is It?
The UTS app falls under IRCTC and it allows you to book your Mumbai local ticket or pass via the app instead of standing in long queues. You can save time by getting your train and being on schedule! Available for iPhone and Android users, this app is valid only for booking tickets for Mumbai local trains.
The app was inaugurated by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to preserve precious time and help passengers.

How To Use It?
You have to register on the app with your mobile number and set your password. Important details like name, mobile number, PAN or Aadhar card details, route of travel and the R-Wallet will have to be set. You can link your bank account or add money to the R-Wallet via their website. If not that, there are recharge centers available on suburban railway stations that will help you do the same.
Choose your destination and class of travel (1st or 2nd) on app and you can get the ticket printed on the ATVM machine at the station.
