Radio Restaurant In Mumbai Serves The Iconic India-Pakistan & Murg Taliban

Once the ‘adda’ for all the drug lords in Mumbai, Radio Restaurant in Musafir Khana is famous for serving one of a kind food!

Biryani At Pocket Friendly Rates

Radio Restaurant, near Crawford Market was once known to be the hotspot for Mumbai’s drug lords and dons to hang out, but today, it’s famous for being a food joint that serves yummy dishes at pocket-friendly rates. If you’re ever out shopping at Crawford Market, don’t miss out this joint inside the narrow lanes of Musafir Khana.

It’s an 88-year-old eatery that serves the iconic dish India-Pakistan. Chicken fried rice is mixed with food colouring and stuffed with chicken lollipops. This is garnished with spring onions & coriander and your India-Pakistan is ready to be served (₹250).

We also love the Murg Taliban (₹175). This dish has small cuts of chicken marinated and stir fried with a rich cashew based gravy. Also try the Seekh Kebab (₹40), juicy kebabs roasted on a fire, served with a minty, green chutney.

You might have to keep in mind a few things while going to the restaurant. It isn’t high on hygiene but it more than makes up for it in taste! It is run under the iron clad rule of Ajju Bhai and on a busy day, as many as 8,000 people leave satiated.
