History?
The 14-century Hill Fort-Kesroli was built by the Yaduvanshi Rajputs, who claim descent from Lord Krishna but converted to Islam in the mid-14-century to be called Khanzadas. Before being reverted to the Rajputs in 1775, it was conquered by Mughals first and then the Jats. The restoration process started in 1995 and it became open to the public in 1998.
