1. Egg Waffles
You might have heard of all sorts of waffles, but the egg waffles are a part of Hong Kong’s very own street food. These are fluffy golden cakes that can be found all over the city. You could try the classic egg waffle or go for an innovative twist as well.

2. Egg Tarts
If you’ve been to Hong Kong, you must know about the delicious egg tarts. It is a pastry-crust filled with egg custard and baked. It sounds yummy but you might have to wait in line for a long time before you get your hands on it.
3. Pineapple Bun
A pineapple bun is a popular snack in Hong Kong and Macau. It is a pillowy soft bread with a crunchy and sugary top crust which looks like a pineapple. Funnily enough, there is no pineapple in the bun. A good pineapple bun is to die for, and one of the must-eats in Hong Kong.
4. Dimsums
When you’re in Hong Kong, yum cha like the Cantonese! Try the dimsums at a local food joint, or even a Michelin starred restaurant. From the classic to the most innovative, the diversity and sheer number of Hong Kong dim sum restaurants is stunning.

5. Milk Tea
This is Hong Kong’s most iconic beverage & it is available all over town. Hong Kong-style milk tea is a tea drink made from black tea and milk. It is usually part of lunch in Hong Kong tea culture. The tea-drinking habits of Hong Kong residents derive from Chinese tea culture.
