During Ramadan, families make the effort to cook & dine together, so there’s a warm feel to it when everybody is together breaking their fast. In our third episode of Ramadan Special, find out some homely iftaari delicacies to indulge in.

What Is It?

The holy month of Ramadan is a time when family friends get together & break their fast, have a meal together during iftar. We decided to visit a home and enjoy their home-cooked delicacies to break their fast and celebrate iftaar.

What’s In It?

As per the traditionspecial dishes are cooked at home on each day of Ramadan. The women of the house cook delectable items each day. When the moon rises, the family say their prayers and break their fast. The fast is broken by drinking water and eating dates, and then the family gets on with enjoying their feast.

They serve yummy items like kheema samosas, chicken steak, sandwiches, vadas and more. The true joy and spirit of Ramadan lies in sitting with family to eat. Enjoy your meal while you laugh, talk and share some warm moments.
