What Is It?

Now you can dine inside a make-shift jail restaurant at Chennai’s Kaidi Kitchen. You can sit inside a prison cell and the waiters are dressed up as police officers. But the only thing missing here are the aluminium vessels!

The tables are built in the form of prison cells and you can be seated in any of the 8 cells. This opulent jail serves Mexican, Italian, North Indian and Mongolian cuisine. They serve yummy food and we loved the Kaidiyo ki pasand ka laddu (₹311), Pista Badam Kofta in Reshmiya Gravy (₹331), Amritsari Paneer Tikka (₹311) and Gulab – e Gulkand (₹181).
