What Is It?

Lighthouse Café in Lower Parel has come out with a food challenge that is good enough to set your tongue on fire! And we aren’t kidding! They bring three food challenges that can let you win a cash prize. You start off with signing an application form to take up this super spicy challenge.

Challenge 1

The first one is to finish up an entire deep dish pizza in 20 minutes and you can win a voucher of ₹ 25,000! Is your adrenaline pumping already? This pizza is loaded with almost 5-6 layers of varieties of cheese and is claimed to be thrice the weight of a normal 8-slice pizza. It’s not as easy as it sounds!

Challenge 2

The second challenge involves finishing up a dish of pasta in 5 minutes and not drinking water for another 10 minutes. Easy peasy? Well, you may want to know this pasta contains one of the spiciest chillies of the world, the Bhut Jolokia. The cash prize for this challenge is ₹2,500. Think you can take all that heat? Go on and try it out!

Challenge 3

The third challenge is to finish a monster burger that is heavily infused with the same chilli. You need to finish this one under 10 minutes, not have water for another 10 minutes and can avail a cash prize of ₹2,500.

What Else?

Each of these challenges are one person per challenge and you could redeem the cash vouchers you win on alcohol or any other food on the menu. (If you are in a state to eat any further!)
