Tell Me More

Think vintage. Wait, not just vintage, think Neo-gothic architectural-styled walls and windows, colonial designed furniture and lights, green terracotta tiled roof spread across a 3000 square foot space.

Now add live gigs, global cuisines, and the old world charm of the Gymkhana minus the membership. What you now get is Gymkhana 91.

This 130-seater is an all day dining place for those who want to sit back and have a relaxing conversation.

Most importantly, the newly sprouted cafe and bar brings the best of both worlds with its colonial facade and a modern twist.

What’s On The Menu?

Gymkhana’s Kejriwal Toast, Rati Aunties Chutney Edu Pattice, Kuber Kulcha, Naga Chilly Wings, Tibetan Thukpa, Mangalorean Curry and Pork Momos.

Feeling thirsty? Quench it to your satisfaction with their Tsar of Rus, East Indian Gimlet, Admirals Move, Be The Monroe, and Rustom Nu Soda.

Verdict by Miss Jani

With 3 decades of experience in catering for gymkhanas, owner Aditya Hegde has tried to recreate a club feel in a plush restaurant setting. Reminiscent to olden times, I especially like the architectural styled windows and colonial designed furniture. Located on the left hand side as you enter Raghuvanshi Mills, there are chances that you would miss this place. So, location can be a bit of a downside.

However, in terms of the food, the dishes are comforting and the prices are pocket-friendly. I recommend you try out the Byculla’s Chicken Russian Cutlet, Nachos Grande,  and the Salmon Roll. This place is perfect for Lower Parel’s office-goers to grab a quick bite or families looking to relive the gymkhana days. I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5″
