What Is it?
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has issued a ban on the enrollment of Emirati students in 47 private schools across the UAE for the academic year 2018-19. The ministry stated that these schools scored poor to very poor ratings in response to the performance of the said schools in the academic evaluation process conducted by the ministry. The ministry has urged parents and guardians of Emirati students to stop registering their children in these schools.
