Are You Brave Enough To Try The ‘Roller Coaster Bridge’?

Say Konnichiwa to the Eshima Ohashi Bridge, aptly nicknamed the roller coaster bridge, in Japan with a terrifying descent of 6.1 percent gradient!

What Is It?

The Eshima Ohashi bridge in Japan spans a mile across Lake Nakaumi and looks like on helluva roller coaster ride. If you’re in the mood for some adventure, this ‘road’ should be on your list. The two-lane concrete road is the largest rigid frame bridge in Japan and stands at number 3 in the world. The Sidhue River Bridge in China is number 1 and the Millau Viaduct in France is at number 2. Nevertheless, the Eshima Ohashi Bridge can be quite daunting and can put your driving skills to the test.

Take a look at these pics to see just what we mean by driving down a bridge with a grade of 6.1 percent. The height of the bridge allows ships to pass from under it. We have to admit that while the bridge itself is terrifying, the view is magnificent.

So the question is, would you guys have the guts to try this out?
