Fan of arts? You can’t miss out on the legendary Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai from 3rd Feb to 11th Feb. 

What Is It?

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2018 is here to entice you with its multidisciplinary arts that highlights all forms of theater, comedy, dance, designs, food, literature, art installations and everything to give your creative a soul a kick! Since every year there is a theme in place for the event, the theme for 2018 is Hara Ghoda (Green Horse). Promoting sustainable living, environmentally friendly behavior and recycling, we love the go green concept.

What’s In It?

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is now in its 20th Edition. This festival has something interesting for people of all ages, so whether you’re with children or college friends or even by yourself, this festival has a lot of offerings.

You can let your little ones enjoy with yoga sessions, craft activities, mindful drama lessons or even painting with eco-friendly colors. In the cinema section, you can enjoy hard-hitting comedies, or drama filled entertainment with experts from the industry like Farah Khan, Ramesh Sippy, Akshay Kumar, and Sonam Kapoor.

With natural synchronisation of rhythm and footwork, Kalaghoda Arts Festival represents the dance forms with over 500 performers. This section will be loaded with 48 performances this year, keeping the Hara Ghoda theme in mind. Dance will know no bounds with talented choreographer Deepali Vichare with dance forms such as Kathak, Lavani, Gondhal, Jive, Cha Cha, and many more. 

Along with music lines, Kalaghoda will have music from all genres. This year there will be seeing performances from known faces like Benny Dayal, KK, Akriti Kakar, Ustad Zakir Hussain and many more.

You can also explore various art forms like literature, street arts, design workshops, and many more. There will also be food and beverage stalls so you can take a quick bite before heading to the next event.
