The Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai makes it on the Top 10 TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards of 2018. 

What Is It?

Earlier this week, TripAdvisor announced its top 10 list of popular tourist attractions and landmarks across the globe and within the country. All the Mumbaikars will be proud to find out that Mumbai’s very own Bandra-Worli sea link made it to the top 10 list of India’s popular tourist attractions. 

Although, it turned up on 10th position, the other 9 landmarks are – Taj Mahal in Agra, Amber Fort in Jaipur, Golden Temple of Amritsar, the Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi, Agra Fort, and Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.

What Do We Know?

These monuments and landmarks selected for this list are a combination of architectural marvel and modern-day infrastructure. It is among the most visited destinations of a particular location. For the worldwide list, over 750 monuments across 68 countries were selected and Taj Mahal in India has come on the #2 spot in Asia and #6 spot across the world.
