Seems like your hunt for a dream job has finally come to a halt as the Icelandic budget WOW airline is hiring two people to travel the world this summer. The home-base for this trip will be Reykjavik and you’ll be travelling to 38 locations that the airline flies to.
What’s In It?
Hit up your travel buddy already and start applying to win this once-in-a-lifetime contest. On winning the contest, the duo will be expected to move to Reykjavik in Iceland and will be flown to different destinations all throughout the summer. What you’re expected to do is create a travel guide and scout out local favourites that fall under the category of food, culture, natural sites, nightlife, and transportation. The job requires you to create digital profiles followed by social media posts and digital creatives including video blogs, Instagram stories, and other storytelling formats.

Sounds like a fun job? Here’s how you can apply – To apply all you have to do is be 18-year old or plus, have a passion for travelling, must speak fluent English, make a two-minute travel video about your hometown and upload it to the WOW air Travel Guide website (link mentioned in the deets). The winner will be announced on May 18th on all WOW air’s social media channels.
All expenses for the duo will be paid for including flights, home base, travel activities and home base accommodation in Reykjavik by WOW air in addition to the stipend money which is $4,000 per person. Although, travellers will have to pay for their own meals and travel cost to the closest city WOW air operates from on their way to Reykjavik.
