Bengaluru is known for its innumerable and unimaginable ‘peak Bengaluru’ moments. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind “no parking” sign or a landlord’s requirement that a tenant should have a good LinkedIn profile in order to rent his house, Bengaluru residents are capable of devising one-of-a-kind solutions to any problem. The most recent instance was when a Bengaluru Airbnb had all chargeable products with QR codes on them. Yes, using chargeable products during your stay is not an option.
Bengaluru Airbnb Adds QR Code On Products
An Airbnb in Bengaluru went all creative, and how. A Twitter user named Deepak Gopalakrishnan posted some pictures from his stay at a Bengaluru Airbnb, and the post went viral in no time. The picture had various items, like coffee sachets, biscuit packets, and shampoo sachets, with QR codes printed on them.
So, no matter if it’s a $1 sachet or a packet of dark fantasy biscuits, if it’s a chargeable product, one has to pay! He posted the picture and wrote in the caption that this is the most ‘peak Bengaluru’ moment of his life.
At an Airbnb in Bangalore and the host has kept purchasable items with QR codes for payments and this is the most @peakbengaluru moment that has ever happened to me 😂 pic.twitter.com/vlhyq8Vxr4

Twitter Users Called It A Good Idea
The viral tweet was reposted by many people and has by far garnered more than 500 likes. A majority of people thought this was a good idea to prevent people from using chargeable products without paying for them. There were many people who commented, “Just Bengaluru things.”
There were some people who actually asked Deepak why he blurred the QR code like people blur their personal details or email ID. One person jokingly asked Deepak if he really thought someone would pay by scanning the code for him. This simply shows how the people of India’s tech hub are using technology to its full extent.
Felt like it was manners, like blurring an email 😁
