Sidhu Moosewala Was A Foodie And Here’s How He Expressed His Love For Desi Meals

Sidhu Moosewala was an Indian rapper, singer, actor and politician who was shot dead in Punjab on Sunday. The 28-year-old singer breathed his last after reportedly 20 bullets were shot at him in Punjab’s Mansa district. He was an iconic singer who was known for his dynamic personality and energizing Punjabi songs. A Hardcore Punjabi who left behind a legacy of bold Punjabi songs was also a pure foodie at heart. 

Punjabi Food Had His Heart

When Sidhu Moosewala was in college, he would always visit Sardar Dhaba with his friends. The owner of the Dhaba in an interview said that Sidhu loved having Chule wali Roti, Dal Makhani and Sarson da Saag at the Dhaba.

Expressing Love For Food Through His Songs

Sidhu Moosewala’s songs mostly spoke about how the power of friendships or bondings adds meaning to our lives. One of his songs, ‘Same Beef’ talks about savouring meat with his gang of friends which was somewhere like a ritual that never changed for them. His love for food and his love for his friends and the bond they share was so beautifully depicted in the song. 

Nothing Like Home Cooked Food For Him

In many of his interviews, Sidhu Moosewala has said that he loves home-cooked food. He was very much fond of home-cooked Rajma and Butter Chicken. He also shared his love for food by feeding the needy people always. His kindness will always be etched in the hearts of many people.
