A happy welcome to all the pizza and pasta fans out there! There’s a new Italian in town. Vero is the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah’s newest restaurant, and it’s quickly proving to be a hit. The award-winning head chef Andrea Mugavero oversees the cuisine, which is defined as modern Italian with a hint to history and authenticity (‘vero’ in Italian means real or true) and a concentration on coastal flavours and spanking fresh seafood. A Michelin-starred chef with a wealth of experience in the kitchen.
The Ambience Is Authentically Amalfi Coast, With Breathtaking Views Of The Ain Dubai
Their name is plastered across an interactive Crudo bar filled with raw fish and shellfish dishes, and the pizza selections look delicious as well (eyes on you, Crudo pizza Carpaccina with your beef carpaccio, fresh rocket, Grana Padano, and black truffle toppings). Desserts, on the other hand, pay homage to classics like tiramisu and Sicilian-style cannoli. With a light-filled, modern environment and a spacious outside patio with wonderful views of the Ain Dubai and the shimmering Arabian Gulf, the feeling is pure Amalfi coast. The tempting drink menu (Italian grapes and spritzes galore) adds to the allure, and this spot promises to be ideal for watching the sunset.
The Sound Of A Resident Saxophone Fills The Room
The meal at a newly opened Saturday brunch focusing on seafood is more of the same. The meal begins with a large Crudo platter, followed by traditional appetisers and main courses. Chef Mugavero will deliver classic Positano dishes directly to diners’ seats, heightening the drama. The sound of a local saxophone permeates the room. Open daily from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Brunch: Prices start at Dhs299, Saturdays.
