Go organic with the fresh produce of the farmer’s market. The first edition was a great success that brought together the farmers on one platform helping them bring awareness among the youth about the produce grown on their lands.

What Is It?

While you were busy scouting for the new gadgets recently launched or the latest arrivals online, a few youngsters in Goa managed to get everyone talking about the ‘local’ produce they can get right here in Goa itself. For instance, the village of Aldona is famous for its tasty red chillies, while Sulcorna is famous for its bananas. Not to forget the juicy watermelons all the way from Parra.

Organised in different parts of the State by individual families, the aim is to bring the ‘Goan taste’ of fresh organic farm produce right to your doorstep. The ‘Goan Farmer’s Market’ aimed to promote produce grown locally giving the farmer’s a good platform to bring awareness among the youth. After all, the local farm products are extremely fresh, tasty and way cheaper. This famous market attracts everyone from chefs, restaurateurs, passionate cooks and people who just happen to love food.
