You might have seen transgenders at traffic signals, but this cafe in Navi Mumbai has changed the society norms and made life better for the transgender population. Third Eye Cafe in Vashi is where food is cooked with love and served by 6 transgender employees. Leaving behind stereotypes and constraints, these employees are happy and confident about being in a respectable job. Some of the employees here had cruel histories of begging and prostitution as well, but they’re positive about changing the perspective about the transgender community.

The owner Nimesh Shetty started this cafe to increase awareness and give transgenders a reputable place in the society. From the managers, to cook and servers, all employees are transgender. Not just that, the cafe serves lip-smacking food too!
