Thalassa’s Tale

Mariketty first came to India with her six-month-old son, Spiro. She started off afresh in Goa by selling delicious Greek rolls at Arpora’s flea market. She did so well that in 2006, Mariketty opened a Greek cuisine restaurant, Thalassa at Small Vagator.

Cut to 2017, it is one of the best restaurants of Goa where weekends are filled with utmost life and awe amazing performances with fire and lots of Greek dance. Thalassa has become a landmark in itself and a must visit in Goa.

Famous for its Greek foodsundowners and performances, Thalassa, now has a branch in Mumbai as well.

So, the next time you’re in Goa don’t forget to head to Thalassa. Grab a drink and sip it while you witness the ball of fire take a dip in the sea.
Spiro, Mariketty’s son is one of the performers at Thalassa and he takes immense joy in telling us their tale.
