What Is It?
Adventure enthusiasts can now be prepared for new experiences at Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah is all set to get a luxury mountain camp according to RAK Tourism Development Authority. The luxury mountain camping site will have 37 rooms by the end of December 2019. A new Survival Academy, popularly known to train on outdoor survival techniques & educate on self-rescue skills when facing nature head-on, is also on the way along with many additions like 64.72 km of hiking and mountain biking trails, all set to open next year.
Jebel Jais Zipline, the longest in the world & at the end of this year will feature an additional zipline cable to enhance capacity together with an adventure park. The zipline has so far witnessed over 10,000 riders.
