For those of you who are confused, cell-cultivated meat is a process that involves the manufacturing of chicken or beef, without having to slaughter live animals. As a result, it is often referred to as ‘no-kill’ or ‘lab-grown’ meat by the mainstream media. Did you know the backers also include renowned names, such as Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and even Kimbal Musk? Coming back to its approvals, the lab-grown meat was approved for sale by both, the US Food and Drug Administration and the US Department of Agriculture earlier this month, marking a major breakthrough.
On a concluding note, it should be noted that this report also mentioned how the company aims to launch a manufacturing facility in the UAE.
