For some desi chatpata snacks, Aloo Tikki is a great option. 1. Start by preparing the stuffing. Take mashed boiled peas and add red chili powder, chopped ginger, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, chaat masala, and kasuri methi.

2. Now take mashed boiled potatoes and add coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, garam masala, grated ginger, and some chopped green chilies. 3. To bind the mixture well, add some rice flour as well. 4. Now form balls with the potato mixture, flatten them and add the peas mixture inside them. Make sure that there are no cracks on the tikki. 5. For frying, you either shallow fry or deep fry. Serve garam garam aloo tikki with green chutney.

This is a delish breakfast option. 1. To make poori, knead flour well with salt, water, and some semolina. Make small dough balls, flatten them, and deep fry them. 2. Take overnight soaked chickpeas and cook them in a pressure cooker. Do not throw away the excess water used in cooking. 3. The next step is to temper the dal and to do that, take a pan and add oil to it.

4. Add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and coriander powder. After some time, add the boiled chickpea water. 5. Once the water starts boiling, add boiled chickpeas and sprinkle some salt. 6. Next add some amchur powder to the dal and cook it on a medium flame. Keep boiling until the water is absorbed and the chana becomes of thick consistency. 7. Make sure you stir the dal in between. And your chana dal is ready to be served.

This dal recipe is simply the best dish to relish with both rice and roti. 1. Soak rajma and urad dal overnight and cook them in a pressure cooker the next morning. 2. Take a pan, add ghee, and add cardamoms and bay leaves. Cook for some time and add chopped onions.

3. Saute for a few minutes and add ginger garlic paste, tomato paste, salt, chili powder, and garam masala. 4. Once the masala is cooked well, add the boiled rajma, urad dal, and stock. Make sure that you mash the lentils lightly before adding them to the masala. 5. Cook for half an hour and add some hot water. Keep cooking until you get the desired thickness. 6. Add some kasuri methi powder and give the dal a nice stir. Before turning off the gas, add some cream.

A must-have sweet treat to end the meal. 1. Start the recipe by blending soaked moong dal. Make sure that you do not blend it into a fine paste. 2. Next add ghee to a pan and fry some semolina. After a few minutes, add the moong dal paste and stir everything well.

3. Once the dal is cooked well and there are no lumps, add a mixture of milk and saffron to it. 4. Make sure you stir the dal continuously on a low flame. In between add some sugar as well. 5. Cook until you notice that the moong dal mixture is not sticking to the pan. Garnish with chopped almonds and cashews and moong dal halwa is ready to be served.
