Saudi Arabia is ramping up its preparations to ensure a successful World Cup, with the final bid now on the table.
The Kingdom has officially submitted its bid to host the Saudi FIFA World Cup 2034, with full backing from HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Riyadh will feature eight World Cup stadiums, including the 92,000-seat King Salman Stadium and the revamped King Fahad Sports City for 70,000, plus the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya.
King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, with a capacity of over 57,000, Qiddiya Coast Stadium for over 46,000, and Jeddah Central Development Stadium with over 45,000 seats are all preparing to welcome football fans.
NEOM Stadium, with a capacity of 46,010, will anchor a sports district in The Line and host major events and professional football after the World Cup.
King Khalid University Stadium will increase its capacity from 22,000 to over 45,000 for the 2034 World Cup.
Aramco Stadium, designed for 46,000 spectators, is expected to be completed by 2026.
There will be 10 extra locations set to host training camps for teams before and during the tournament.
