1. AGUMBE This village connects the coastal Karnataka with the plains and offers the most panoramic views. It is known as the 'Cherrapunji of the South'.
2. St. MARY'S ISLAND This island near Malpe beach in the Udupi district is recognised as National Geological Monument of India. It houses unique rock formations.
3. YANA This is a quaint village in Karnataka that houses 2 unusual solid rock formations. They are made up of black crystalline karst limestone.
4. NETRANI ISLAND This heart shaped island is located near Murdeshwar. You can indulge into diving and snorkelling here after a 90 minutes ride to reach the island.
5. SHETTIHALLI CHURCH This place is also known as the Submerged church because it remains underwater between July and October. It is the perfect example of Gothic architecture in India.
