Ugadi is celebrated predominantly in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka
Vishu is the Malayalam New Year celebrated in Kerala. It usually falls in the month of April
Puthandu, also known as Tamil New Year or Varusha Pirappu, is celebrated by Tamil people in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
Bohag Bihu, marks the Assamese New Year and the beginning of the Assamese calendar
Pana Sankranti is the traditional New Year festival of Odisha, celebrated on the first day of the Odia calendar month
Baisakhi is an important festival for the Sikh community and marks the Sikh New Year as well as the harvest festival in Punjab
