1. Use A Flat Spatula 

The trick in getting the dosa flip right is in using a flat spatula. Not a spoon or fork but a flat spatula.

2. Smear Ghee On The Sides

Once the dosa gets dry from the top, smear ghee on the sides.

3. Check For A Golden Brown Hue

Lift the dosa gently from the side and check for a golden brown hue.

4. Loosen It From The Edges 

Then, use the spatula to remove it from the edges.

5. Slide The Spatula Underneath

Once you have loosened the crispy dosa from the edges then slide a spatula underneath and turn the dosa on the other side.

6. Serve Or Slip Again! 

If the batter is thin then you can flip the dosa and serve it. But if the batter is thick then you need to flip it and let the dosa cook.
