Diwali is just around the corner and I am sure you too must be gearing up to relish all the sweets and savouries.
One of the most loved one is Chakli but it is not easy to make crunchy chaklis. Here are some tips to help to make the best!
While adding ghee or oil to the dough, make sure it is warm or a little near to hot.
Add sesame seeds or ajwain to the dough to bring in that extra crunch.
While frying chaklis make sure you keep the rest covered in wet muslin cloth.
Make sure you fry the chaklis in medium heat flame.
Make sure that the dough is soft yet firm. The consistency of the dough is the key factor.
After kneading the dough, let it rest for about 30-45 mins maximum.
