Air India Launches Upgrade+ That Allows Flyers To Upgrade Cabins, Here All About It

Upgrade+ allows Air India passengers to choose upgrades to premium seats between 72 and 12 hours before a flight.

Air India customers can pay for cabin upgrades while making their reservations at the airline's airport terminals.

Air India's "Bid Upgrade" program has been discontinued with the launch of Upgrade+.

BENEFITS: Additional baggage allowance, expedited check-in at designated counters, boarding and luggage handling, onboard comforts, and a delicious dining experience.

Upgraded reservations are subject to all applicable fare terms, including cancellation and rebooking fees, even Flying Returns mile accrual.

Passengers with confirmed, Air India-issued booking documents are eligible to choose upgrades using the Upgrade+ program for flights that the airline flies.
