India's Largest Rescue Centre

Vantara is India's largest animal rescue centre spanning 3000 acres in the Reliance Jamnagar refinery. It's home to over 2000 species.

1. Asiatic Lion 

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Vantara, he spotted several Asiatic lions and cubs.

2. Snow Tiger 

The endangered snow tiger also resides at Vantara. With a white coat and black stripes, the animal is alluring.

Out of the 1.5 lakh rescued animals in Vantara is also a number of giraffes.

Another inhabitant of the animal rescue centre is the one-horned rhino.
