Bored Of Regular Idlis? 

Yes, idlis are healthy and call for wholesome South Indian breakfast. But if you're bored of regular idlis or have leftover idlis, then here's what you can do.

1. Fried Idli

Add little ghee to a pan and roast the idli over medium heat. When it's golden brown and slightly crisp. serve it. Your Fried Idlis are ready!

2. Masala Idli 

Cut idlis into small pieces. Roast onions and spices on a pan. Then, add the pieces of idli to it. Roast  it well over medium heat.

3. Idli Upma 

Crush the idli till it becomes crumbly. Then, roast chopped onions, green chillies, hing in coconut oil with some spices. Add the crushed idli.

4. Idli Chaat

Cut idlis in desired shapes. In a bowl, whisk curd and spices. Add the spices curd along with veggies over the idlis.

5. Idli Burger 

Use two idlis in place of burger buns. Place a stuffed potato patty in the middle along with cheese and veggies.

6. Idli Tikki

Prepare a tikki batter out of crushed idlis, roasted spices and veggies. Shape them into tikkis and shallow fry them in a pan.
