What You Need

1 cup rajma/kidney beans, soaked and boiled 1/2 cup fried onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic, crushed 2 green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, 1 tsp salt, 1/3 tsp cardamom powder, 1/3 tsp nutmeg powder, 1/3 tsp cinnamon powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, Ghee or oil for shallow fry, 2 tsp roasted besan.

Soak kidney beans overnight or for at least 3-4 hours.

Step 1

Boil them in a cooker for 4-5 whistles.

Mash the beans till they’re a paste.

Add the rest of the ingredients and spices to the bean paste.

Mix the paste well. Make small tikkis from the mix.
