Chef Neha Deepak Shah Makes Maharashtrian Kothimbir Vadi, Without Using Any Oil; Recipe Inside

• 100 g besan • 1/4 cup curd • 1½ cup water • Salt • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder • 1 tsp oil • 1/4 tsp hing • 1 tbsp sesame seeds • 1 tbsp ginger, garlic & green chilli paste • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves

Ingredients

• Take a bowl and prepare kothimbir vadi batter by mixing besan, salt, turmeric powder, curd, and water.

Step 1

• Next, take a pan and temper hing, sesame seeds, and paste made with ginger, green chillies, and garlic in very little oil. Pour the besan batter as well.

Step 2

• Once the consistency thickens, add coriander leaves and mix everything well. Take a plate, spread the freshly cooked batter, and let it sit aside for about 45 minutes to cool down and set.

Step 3

• Cut in cubes. You can fry them in deep oil, air fryer, or shallow fry them.

Step 4

Serve delicious non-fried kothimbir vadi with chutneys.
