Chop turnips, carrots and turnips into chunks. Set Aside.

Roast cumin, fennel and mustard seeds so that the pickle gets a smoky flavour.

Grind the roasted seeds to a fine powder along with haldi and red chilli powder.

Fry some cumin & mustard seeds; add chopped onions in a pan until they soften. Add ginger garlic paste to the onions. Set aside.

Add a generous amount of vinegar. Then add jaggery powder to the mix. Set Aside.

Add the ground powder to the onion mixture. Then add the jaggery mixture. Finally, add the chopped veggies. Mix well.
