-1 cup dates (140 g) -1/4 cup almond butter (56 g) -3/4 cup plant milk, unsweetened (180 ml) -2 cups cooked black rajma/ black kidney beans -1/4 cup almond flour (26g) -1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (38g) -2 tsp instant coffee powder -1 tbsp flax seed powder -1/3 cup dark cocoa powder (24 g) -1 tsp baking powder -1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Soak 1 cup black beans overnight, pressure cook them tender, and measure out 2 cups for the recipe.In a separate bowl, soak 1 cup pitted dates in 2 cups hot water for 15 minutes, then drain well. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Combine the soaked dates, almond butter, and plant milk in a food processor. Blend until you get a creamy puree. Add the cooked black beans and blend again until smooth.

Add the almond flour, protein powder, flaxseed powder, cocoa powder, instant coffee powder, and baking powder to the food processor. Mix until everything is well combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula until evenly distributed.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking after 15 minutes with a toothpick. The brownies are done when the toothpick comes out almost clean. Once baked, remove from the oven and cool for 30 minutes.

Melt dark chocolate with plant milk in the microwave for a chocolate sauce. Drizzle over the cooled brownies, refrigerate for 15 minutes, then cut and enjoy!
