On the second day of Ganesh Utsav, treat Ganpati with this Rose Malai Ladoo recipe by food blogger Manali Singh (@cookwithmanali). The delicious-looking recipe can easily be replicated at home and served as prasad to everyone!
1 litre full-fat milk Vinegar 1/2 cup heavy cream Rose syrup Rose water Powdered sugar Chopped dry fruits of choice

1. Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan on medium-high heat. 2. Once it comes to a boil, add 1/2 cup water and take it off the heat. 3. Let the mix cool down a little before adding 2 tbsp of vinegar to it.
4. Once the milk curdles, let it rest for 2 minutes and then drain the milk using a muslin cloth over a strainer. 5. Wash the collected chena with fresh water and remove the excess water. 6. Once cool, knead the chena for a few minutes till it becomes smooth.
6. Take a pan and add 1/2 cup of heavy cream to it and let it cook for 2 minutes. 7. Then add the fresh chena, along with 2 tbsp of rose syrup, 1 tsp rose water & 1/3 cup of powdered sugar to the pan.
8. Cook the mixture on low heat and stir continuously. 9. Once it starts leaving the sides of the pan, take it off the heat.
10. Let the mixture cool down and add chopped dry fruits of your choice. 11. Shape the ladoos from the mixture.
And that’s it! Your Rose Malai Ladoo is ready to be served to Lord Ganesh!
