Chef Neha Deepak Shah shared a hummus recipe, which is made without any chickpeas.
You can bring together this recipe in 10 minutes and it is super creamy and absolutely delicious!
½ cup daalia/roasted gram 3 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp tahini or sesame seeds ½ cup hung curd Salt 2 tbsp olive oil Lemon juice Ice (optional)
1. Soak daalia/roasted gram in hot water for 5-8 mins. 2. Then, put it in a blender jar.
3. Next, add tahini (or sesame seeds). 4. Add garlic (optional), olive oil, and lemon juice to the blender jar.
5. To make it creamy, put some hung curd, salt, and ice (optional)
6. Blend to make a smooth paste.
And that’s it, plate your chickpea-free hummus, garnish with some olive oil, and dig in!
