Jowar Pita Pockets

Your Jowar Roti can double up as  the perfect pita pockets and chef  Viraj Naik shared the recipe that  will help you make it at home. 

Ingredients

2 cups water 2 cups sorghum flour or any millet flour 1 tsp ghee Salt to Taste

Step 1

1. Take 2 cups of water in a vessel and add some ghee and salt to it.

Step 2

2. Add flour, mix well for some time. 3. Take it off the heat.

Step 3

4. While it’s still hot, knead it well  for 5-7 minutes. 

Step 4

5. Roll it like a roti.

Step 5

6. Cook it on both sides and use a  cloth or spatula to make sure it  puffs up nicely. 

Fill Up & Enjoy!

Now, cut it into two halves, fill it  with veggies or filling of your  choice and enjoy!
