It is high time to stop buying stock cubes from markets as these are packed with additives. Prepare these freshly at home following Chef Neha Deepak Shah's recipe.

• 1 tbsp oil • 2 bay leaves • 8-10 black peppercorns • 1 onion • 7-8 garlic cloves • 1½ tbsp coriander stem • 1 small potato • 1/2 cup celery • 1/2 cup carrot • Water • Salt • 1 tbsp coriander or parsley leaves
• Add oil to a pan and temper bay leaves and black peppercorns. Saute onions, garlic cloves, coriander stems, and salt.

• Once done, add potato, celery, carrot, and water and put a lid on the pan. After the potatoes soften, take out bay leaves and peppercorns and transfer everything to a mixer grinder.

• Add chopped parsley leaves to the cooked veggies and blend to a smooth paste.

• Next, add oil to a pan and pour the freshly mixed veg mixture. Stir and cook till the consistency becomes dry. Spread it uniformly on a plate and refrigerate.

• Once done, cut in small cubes and wrap each of them niecely before storing them in a freezer again.

Healthy homemade veg stock cubes are ready. Simply add one to boiling water and let it cook for some time to get yummy stock.
