• Store-bought wadi • Cumin seeds • Onions • Tomato puree • Ginger • Garlic • Potatoes • Salt • Turmeric powder • Red chilli powder • Garam masala • Oil • Water • Coriander leaves

• Start Amritsari Aloo Wadiyan preparation by making a fine paste of onion, garlic, and garlic.

• Take store-bought wadi, cut into small pieces, and fry them in oil. Make sure to fry for a few minutes till you get the desired brown colour.

• Next, temper cumin seeds in oil and add onion-ginger-garlic paste. Once the paste's colour darkens, add water, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, tomato puree, coriander powder, and garam masala.

• Once the spices get cooked well, add potatoes and cook for a few more minutes. Pour fried wadi into the spicy gravy and add water.

• Lastly, transfer everything to a pressure cooker and cook till you get two whistles. Once done, turn off the gas stove.
