• Start the recipe by washing millet and moong dal thoroughly. Once you are done washing, soak everything for about 1-2 hours and then drain out the excess water.

• Next, take a pan and add some ghee. Then, add some cumin and ginger and cook for a few seconds.

• Next add chopped beans, carrots, and peas to the pan and saute. • Then add spices such as turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, sugar, and garam masala.

• After cooking for a few minutes, add the soaked millets and moong dal. Cook for a few minutes and add water to it.

• Let everything boil for at least 10-15 minutes. Once the khichdi is cooked well, add some ghee on top and serve hot.
