In India, the legal age of drinking ranges from 18 to 25. Following are the states categorised by their legal drinking age.

Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, and Punjab are countries where drinking is only legal for people above the age of 25.

Kerala officials have recently increased the drinking age to 23 in a bid to phase out alcohol consumption.

If you’re above 21 and in West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Ladakh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, or Andhra Pradesh, you can legally drink.
