From Passenger Ropeway To ONGC's Sea Survival Centre, Goa Is Getting A Facelift; PM Modi Attends Events In Goa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Goa on February 6 to inaugurate several important projects in the state. His itinerary also includes laying the foundation stones of development.

He inaugurated the three-day event of India Energy Week 2024 in the state on Tuesday. "Goa is touching new heights of development", he stated.

While addressing the event, PM Modi spoke about how the world is looking to make investments in India in different sectors of gas, oil, and energy.

He also added how the event of the India Energy Week event is not only this country's event but a reflection of a sentiment of "India with the world and India for the world".

PM Modi also inaugurated the Sea Survival Centre of ONGC and dedicated it to the nation during his visit to Goa. He said how it is a watershed moment for the nation in making a mark in the sea survival training ecosystem.

His itinerary in Goa also includes laying the foundation stones for a passenger ropeway and a 100 MLD water treatment plant's construction in South Goa.

Distributing appointment orders to 1,930 recruits is also on his work trip to Goa itinerary. They applied for government jobs across various departments under the Rozgar Mela.
